The RAEFORM volunteer program isn't open yet — this page describes the terms that will apply once it is, so anyone reviewing our policies ahead of time knows what to expect. Nothing here creates an obligation until the program launches and you sign up for it.
Volunteering with RAEFORM will mean contributing skills, time, or expertise to projects or initiatives without expectation of monetary compensation. It will not create an employment relationship, and volunteers will not be entitled to wages, benefits, or the protections that apply to paid staff.
The program will be open to individuals who meet whatever eligibility criteria we set for a given opportunity (for example, a minimum age, a required skill set, or availability). We reserve the right to decline or end a volunteer arrangement at our discretion.
Volunteers will be expected to follow the same Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy that apply to every other account on the platform, plus any additional guidance specific to the project they're contributing to.
Work product created while volunteering for a specific RAEFORM initiative will generally belong to RAEFORM or the beneficiary of that initiative, as described in the terms presented at sign-up for that opportunity — not automatically retained by the volunteer.
Volunteering does not guarantee a future paid role, job offer, or reference, though it may be considered alongside other experience if a volunteer later applies to a paid opportunity through the job board.
Because the program hasn't launched, these terms may change before it does. The version presented to you when you actually sign up for a volunteer opportunity is the one that applies.
